A bit about me:

I have a great deal of interest in the Internet and prosumption. My analyses tend to be informed by the traditions of Critical Theory, French Post-Structuralism, and Psychoanalysis. Currently, I work as a research assistant for George Ritzer, helping to coordinate the Global and Transnational Section of the American Sociological Association. I am involved in the Prosumer Studies Working Group which seeks to collectively theorize how technological innovations such as Web 2.0 are changing social relationships across the globe. I'm a lover modern art, design, and jazz, and I'm an avid Tom Waits fan. I blog for for Sociology Lens on a bi-monthly basis, and I'm an occasional poet.
